	Business and Company Resource Center is a fully integrated resource bringing together company profiles, brand information, rankings, investment reports, company histories, chronologies and periodicals. Search this database to find detailed company and industry news and information. This database is part of the NOVEL project, made available through Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) funds by the New York State Library.

Beginning or professional genealogists can now use this powerful online library, with original page images for all documents, from the convenience of their home or at the library. This database includes access to the U.S. Federal Census Records from 1790-1930. However, the only searchable names are those of Heads of Households. 	Learn A Test has over 50 online practice tests such as the ACT, SAT, GED, ASVAB, Police Officer, Paramedic, US Citizenship, and more. You may access the site from any computer in the library. You will need to create a user account to use the tests. From your home or office, you will need your library card to create an account, and the username must be your library card number. 	Reference USA is a comprehensive directory of business and residential telephone numbers and addresses. Search by name, company name, geographic area or zip code. Find out company size, top personnel, year established, type of business, credit rating, yearly sales ranges and more.
	Times Union online library contains most locally written stories published since 1986. Headlines and summaries can be viewed for no charge. Your public library has a special arrangement with the Times Union to view full stories on-site in the library, though not from home or office. Please ask a librarian for assistance.
