The National Bottle MuseumŽ is a nonprofit educational institution chartered by the New York State Education Department. We are funded by admissions, memberships, gifts, donations, and fund raising events. Gifts and donations may be deducted from the donor's taxes, as we are classified by the IRS as a 501 c (3). Bottle collections, library books, and all of the museum's assets are held in trust for the public. Except for souvenir reproductions, the museum does not sell bottles, nor do we purchase bottles. Once a year in early June, the museum sponsors an Antique Bottle Show and Sale at the Saratoga Springs City Center in Saratoga Springs, NY. Dealers and collectors from coast to coast in the USA and from several provinces of Canada man 160 sales tables. An area separate from the sales floor contains beautiful exhibits strictly for viewing. Free information and literature is available in abundance.
