I am not sure that there is a message as such in The Trial, but here are my reflections on Alex Zambelli's questions:
1. "Why is K. so attached to F.B.?"
From the point of view of the story K. is obviously very attracted to her. This happens. It perhaps counterpoints the judges' extremely lustful attitudes towards women of which we hear tell elsewhere in the novel.
F.B.'s appearance in the last chapter signifies nothing. It is not certain that it is her. K. uses the fact that it might be to give himself fortitude.
There is perhaps the ghost of a parallel with the ending Of Faust: "Eternal womanhood Leads us on upwards."
2. Elsa is significant because of the way K. uses her as a bargaining chip to seduce Leni. I haven't managed to find the line in the book where K. feels the Court should be intimidated by Elsa: I can only assume it is because she is very parsimonious with her favours (Chapter III, just after K. leaves the student).
3. The debate between K. and the priest shows that one cannot say that the parable Before The Law has any particular meaning. There are only possibilities of meaning.
There is a clue, perhaps, in the way the priest introduces the story. He is telling K. about his "particular delusion", which is summarised by the Legend. At the end K.'s first comment is: "So the doorkeeper deluded the man!"
4. The background to the scene in the cathedral is a little odd, given that K. has dismissed his Advocate and we are not aware of any other efforts that he is making with his case. But in terms of his development it is critical. For the first time he has to consider how he has been fighting his case.
But at the end of the chapter a kind of tiredness overwhelms K., as he stops struggling with the different meanings of the little story, which has "lost its clear outline". A kind of serenity can be seen in him, which continues over into the tenth chapter.
