Metamorphosis just mesmerized me. I read it for one of my literature classes at Univeristy. I reached for it before getting up from bed in the morning. I could not stop reading and as a result I got late for my classes. Picture yourself in a body of a huge, ugly, and bulky bug. Gregor's family was taking advantage of him. They depended on him for material things. After a while they were unapt for normal living. When Gregor changes to an insect, they have to learn how to fend for themselves again. Eventhough not quite willingly, they are finally able to control their lifestyle. After Geregor's death, his parents notice that their daughter has grown up and became independent. Is she going to be the next one to be taken advantage of by her family. Is she going to turn into an insect after having been exhausted with her parents'attidude towards life and their family.
